Prince George, a leading Economist and CEO of Doha Brokerage Financial Services Ltd (DBFS) gave a deeper analysis of the proposed Union Budget for 2020-21 to COG audience on 2 Feb 2020.

He did his job extremely well in spite of the fact that he had to deliver such a presentation within few hours after the FM made the proposal in Parliament. The analysis was well delivered in a balanced, composed, informative way that the question-answer session which followed was lively.

Adv.A Jayashankar, lawyer, political analyst and commentator, prominent TV panelist made a talk on ‘political scenario in the country- past and present’ on 8 December 2019.
As expected he caught the full attention of the listeners using his satirical expressions, in depth political knowledge, sharp memory and subtle humour. The speech was followed with a lively question-answer session.

Bro.Vishwanathan Arangath, our own member of COG has made a professional talk along with a power point presentation on the topic: Sustainable life style. How to make it happen on 4th Aug 2019.
The speaker with his in depth knowledge on the subject, well documented back up practical illustrations and good delivery made the presentation very informative and lively. The presentation was followed by equally live question answer session.

Adv. George Thomas,Senior Supreme Court advocate gave the COG audience on 7 July 2019 an eloquent speech on the topic-‘Who is great’.His speech was compendious, articulate and crisp which went well with the audience.

Mr.Chacko Tharakan, is selected as MR.INDIA in the recently concluded national body building championship at Namakkal,Tamil Nadu.He is son of our Bro.Mathew Tharakan and Tessy Tharakan. Dr. Jose Chacko Periapuram, renowned heart surgeon and a COG member made a presentation on Organ Donation and Heart Transplants on 8 July 2018.With the help of relevant videos and graphic illustrations, the respectable doctor who has hands own experience in innumerable successful heart transplants made a simple, crisp, persuasive and compendious presentation on a complex subject to a large audience consisting of members and families.
Dr.Jacob Abraham, Cardiac Anesthetist, COG member and fellow doctor in the team of Dr.jose in the Lissie Hospital, Ernakulam made an apt introductory speech on the occasion which was enjoyed by the audience.
Q&A session followed the presentation. Seeing the number and depth of queries raised on varied aspects of the subject by the audience, it can be concluded that the presentation could hit the bull’s eye it was intended for.

Sussan Renny, daughter of Bro.Renny Varkey Kakkanattu and Mrs.Lalitha Renny has secured remarkable positions in various National Cubing Competitions. Such competitions take place all over the world including India and are organized by the World Cubing Association (WCA). It is WCA that governs the competitions of puzzles related with Rubik’s Cube, invented by Prof.Rubik from Hungary.
Sussan, a student of Choice School, Kochi has successfully participated in Cubing Kerala Adaar Open 2018, Alleppy, Oakridge Cube Open 2018, Bangalore and Primus Cube Open 2018, Bangalore. She has achieved second position in Pyraminx Cube event at Venice of the East open 2018 with a time of 4.72 seconds.
