COG International?
COG is the acronym for Celebrities of Goodness. The COG International is an association of likeminded leaders in society consisting of businessmen, professionals, educationalists, entrepreneurs and executives. It was established in order to encourage mutual help, fraternity and fellowship among the members.
The COG International was established on 5 May 1994 with its registered office at Kochi, commercial capital of Kerala State, India.
Motto of the COG is fraternity, equality and friendship among its members. Help the fellow member- addressed each other as Brother- in distress, share his sorrow and sufferings, share his success and happy events in life, extend support to make his life happy, peaceful and contended. This is what COG stands for.
The hierarchy of COG profile is as follows:
1. The Marshals.
2. Vice Marshals.
3. Past Presidents.
4. Past Secretaries.
5. Members.
The COG flag is the symbol of what the COG stands for. It is pentagonal in shape and hung vertically with the triangular end at the bottom. The COG logo is impressed on the flag.The colour of the flag is white and blue. White stands for love and blue stands for infinity of the blue sky. These two colours nicely merge in the middle representing infinite love among COG brothers.
The logo of the COG is the representation of Mother Earth with longitudinal and latitudinal, thick lines and with two hands clasped in a handshake. The two hands represented are black and white standing for different peoples of the world. There are five silver stars above the Earth standing for the five grand masters controlling the destiny of the COG.
Gown is long and flowing, open at the front and having aide sleeves. It is grey in colour representing the greyness of mother earth to which we return at the end of life’s journey. Every member has to wear the gown compulsorily at the COG Assembly.
The COG Assembly meets once in a month at a specific time and venue where all the members are expected to meet. The Assembly meets every month at 07.30 pm sharp. COG considers the importance of keeping right time in one’s life whether professional or personal. As such the doors of the Assembly will be closed sharp at the given time for the official functions. The proceedings of the COG Assembly are of a confidential nature and hence not revealed to the outside world.
Professional talks on different topics of interest to members are arranged at times. Such presentations are made by the members of COG or from professionals of reputation from nonmembers.
Along with some monthly Assembly of the members, family’s get-together is arranged generally three times in a year. Family members without any restrictions on gender or age participate in such occasions where they get a chance to interact with each other. Cultural shows are arranged to make such occasions more enjoyable.
